Senior Full Charge Bookkeeper/Controller

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Senior Financial Controller within a CPA firm OR
Experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Senior Financial Controller at a $10M+ revenue construction company
7+ years of progressive full-charge accounting experience
7+ years of QuickBooks Online and Desktop experience (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
Experience in construction, hospitality, or healthcare
High level of discretion, ethics, and professionalism
Currently live a reasonable commuting distance from Downtown, Naples. This is a 100% on-site position

Primary Responsibilities

Full-charge bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and Desktop
Manage A/P, A/R, general ledger, and bank/credit card reconciliations
Payroll coordination and payroll tax filings (quarterly and annual)
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
WIP tracking and job cost accounting (construction experience preferred)
Monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement preparation
Balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
Support tax preparation and responding to CPA requests
Maintain audit-ready financial records
Monitor internal controls and identifying discrepancies
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with training and documentation standards
